Podcast 3 Robocob

Robocop
Hi, gays. Today I am going to talk about a new movie “Robocop”, which was on theater last week. In RoboCop, the year is 2028 and multinational conglomerate OmniCorp is at the center of robot technology. Overseas, their drones have been used by the military for years - and it's meant billions for OmniCorp's bottom line. Now OmniCorp wants to bring their controversial technology to the home front, and they see a golden opportunity to do it. When Alex Murphy (Joel Kinnaman) - a loving husband, father and good cop doing his best to stem the tide of crime and corruption in Detroit - is critically injured in the line of duty, OmniCorp sees their chance for a part-man, part-robot police officer.
Robocop is a reboot of a perfectly good 80s movie and it’s really good one!  It recalls my memory when I saw it in childhood and play the Robocop video game. I expected a mindless Micheal Bayian action movie and what I got was a really smart, interesting and entertaining look at trans-humanism, the freedom of choice, politics and recklessness in corporate leaders. This movie really dives into the question of how a person could live his day to day live with almost all of his body amputated and stuck inside of a machine. So when people complain about the uncomfortable scenes between Murphy and his wife, I can only imagine they mean what happened after his transformation, and that felt exactly the way it was supposed to!
Some people may say they don’t really like it. There was too much love story I was excepting a bad ass movie where robocop is like the terminator and does a lot of kick ass stuff. I'm not gonna care what anyone says. I really really like the remake. At first I thought he was jus gonna be going around saving the day then the end , but no they made it so much better coz I saw the emotional struggle he had to overcome. Oh and having blood and gore doesn't make a movie better, I respect the original film but hey this one was clean, had a sizable chunk of action and a touch of human morale to it. I'm gonna watch it again!
So, guys if you like to recall your memory in your 80s, go and check this movie, I think it’s worth for you to hangout for this movie. Thank you for listening. Will see you next time.
